Our partnership with Rodrigo may only stretch back four years, but his history with progressive cultivation spans over 15 years. He takes this idea of progressivism so seriously that he has even named his main farm Finca El Progreso. While cupping the bourbon growing on his lots, Rodrigo noticed some distinct flavor nuances among a few of his plants. Rodrigo cultivated this new variety into a productive lot on his experimental farm, Finca Monteblanco. Look for a striking tropical acidity and a lingering, sweet, maple aftertaste.
