Our partnership with Rodrigo may only stretch back several years, but his history with progressive cultivation spans over 15 years. He takes this idea of progressivism so seriously that he has even named his main farm Finca El Progreso. While cupping the caturra growing on his lots, Rodrigo noticed some distinct flavor nuances among a few of his plants. After identifying 26 trees our of his 20,000 carrying this mutation, Rodrigo cultivated this new variety into a productive lot on his experimental farm.
